Robin has some unusual credentials for a production manager- he earned a Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks.

Sure, he has years of technical experience in computer graphics, design, and printing. Sure, he can do everything from re-touching photos to setting type to trouble shooting the machines themselves. But he has also been known to spot a typo at twenty yards, and edit copy while you wait.

"What's great at Balzac is I get to do a lot of different things, and take advantage of a lot of different interests I have," says Robin. "Solving problems is fun- it's a creative challenge very much like writing."

We think Robin brings a novel approach to production management.
